Custom Painting Commission: Original Finger-Painted Art
Hello dear friends. 🎨 If you would like a painting made just for you, the process begins with a conversation. I do not paint with a brush; I paint with my fingers. I choose the colours and shapes based on what we talk about and on your energy. Every painting is a single original work, not a print.
A colour you pass every day can remind you of something. That is why it matters what greets you on the wall each morning. What would you like to feel when you look at that wall?
How does a commission work?
- First you write to us; we get back to you and set up a conversation.
- In that conversation we talk about where the painting will hang, the size you have in mind and what you would like to feel from it.
- The size, the canvas and the colour world take shape in that chat. The price and the timing become clear at this stage too, based on the size and the workload at the time.
- When the painting is finished, I let you know and we arrange how it reaches you.
How are size and colour chosen?
The place decides the size. Knowing the width of the wall, the furniture next to it and the light in the room helps me. If you can, send a photo of the wall. I do not offer a ready palette. We talk about the colours you love, the ones you avoid and how you want to feel in that room. The rest takes shape on the canvas.
What does finger painting mean here?
I carry the paint to the canvas with my fingers instead of a brush. That is why you see the trace of touch, layer upon layer of colour and movement in my paintings. While I work, I put my good intention and love into the painting. We agree on the type and size of canvas when you order.
A painting, not a promise
For me, art is one way of carrying good intention and love into daily life. But I do not claim that a painting will change your health or your life. What I offer is an original work made by hand, with you in mind. How you experience it belongs to you.
If you live abroad or are new to Istanbul, you can simply write to us in English. Please mention your city and country in your first message, and we will talk about how the painting can reach you once it is finished. You can see more of my paintings on Instagram at @mervetufekcihealingart.
I would love for your home to hold a colour that is yours. Tell us about the wall and the feeling you have in mind, and let us discover the rest together. ✨

Frequently asked questions
Are the paintings originals or prints?
Every commissioned painting is a single original work. I paint it by hand, with my fingers.
What affects the price?
Mainly the size and the canvas. After our conversation we send you a clear price.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on the size and the workload at the time. We agree on the timing when you order.
Can you send the painting to another city or country?
We talk about how the painting reaches you once it is finished. Tell us where you are when you order.
Can I buy a painting from the gallery?
If you like one of the works, write to us. We will tell you whether it is available and on what terms.
Is this the same as a vision board?
No. A vision board is usually a collage of cut-out images. What I make is an original painting on canvas, painted with my fingers.
