New Moon in Cancer, 25 June 2025: Returning to the Home of the Heart
Today a powerful gate of energy opens in the sky. This new moon born in Cancer calls us home: to the home of the heart, to inner peace, to making peace with the past and the future, to the roots of the soul. Cancer is about mother energy, compassion, intuition, protection and emotional safety. On this new moon the fragile yet very strong side inside us awakens: the wish to protect ourselves, to hold the people we love and to make peace with our feelings.
The sky says: honour the past, but stop living there. Open a new space for yourself; carry the strength you draw from your roots into a brand new future. Emotional sensitivity may rise; that is not a bad thing. In this period we are very open to the lightness that comes with tears and the intuition that grows in silence.
New moon ritual: I Am Coming Home
Choose a quiet space, light a candle, keep a glass of water and paper and pen beside you. Close your eyes, take a deep breath all the way down to your belly, hold it a little and release slowly; repeat three times. Hear the voice of your heart and feel that safe, warm home with a smile. Then set your intention with this sentence: I honour my past with compassion and build a new home inside me. I make room for peace in my heart, and for love and growth in my home.
