How to Plan a Corporate Wellbeing Event for Your Team

How to Plan a Corporate Wellbeing Event for Your Team

Hello dear friends. ✨ Let me start with one of our recent days. At one of our corporate workshops we held a sound therapy and meditation session outdoors. It was a sunny day; the mats lay on the stone floor and the shoes stayed at the side. I guided with a microphone while everyone sat cross-legged with their eyes closed. At the end we took a group photo, and a four-legged friend joined us.

It was such a joyful day. For a while, colleagues were simply people breathing side by side. We can plan a day like this with your team too. But it is better to start not by picking a workshop, but by answering a few questions. What does the team hope for from this day, how much time can it give, and where can we meet?

In companies this is usually called wellbeing. What it comes down to is simple: people being able to make a little space for themselves. What does your team need most right now?

Purpose and team structure

One team wants to rest after a busy period. Another wants to get to know each other, and another to build a regular habit. These three needs call for different programmes. A one-off day suits a break and time together. If the goal is a habit, sessions repeated at set intervals make more sense.

Practices like breath and meditation also work with large groups. In hands-on workshops such as candle making or finger painting, we plan the group size around the venue. That way everyone gets enough space and attention. When a group comes from different departments, we leave more room for getting to know each other.

Voluntary participation

In wellbeing work it matters a lot that joining is voluntary. Meditation or sharing may not feel comfortable for everyone. We build the programme so that anyone can take part by simply listening. Nobody has to talk about themselves; closing your eyes and listening is a way of taking part too.

Venue, length and budget

A half-day workshop at your office in Istanbul fits into the working day and needs no equipment; a meeting room or a terrace is enough. A day at Şifa Köyü, our organic farm in Şile on the Black Sea coast of Istanbul, lets the team step away from the flow of work. It does need planning for transport and meals. Comparing the two against your budget and calendar is the wisest way to decide.

When you ask for a proposal, you can ask item by item what is included: materials, transport, meals, venue and facilitator. We talk about materials together; sometimes companies provide paints or canvases themselves. We list what is and is not included separately. That also makes internal approval easier.

Feedback and programme options

A short anonymous feedback form after the event is very valuable for shaping the next programme. Expecting a single event to change burnout or productivity is not realistic. But learning what the team enjoyed helps you take the next step well. This work is not a health or occupational safety service; it is a space for slowing down together. Everything can be held in English as well as in Turkish; just tell us which language your team works in.

  • A half-day breath and awareness workshop at your office
  • A day in nature at Şifa Köyü
  • Regular sessions spread over several weeks
  • One-to-one coaching for managers
  • Conference and panel talks

Fill in the form, let us get back to you, and we will build the programme together. I wish your team a day to breathe and smile at each other. Write to us about your plan, and we will be so happy to think it through with you. 💛

Frequently asked questions

Does the programme change with team size?

Yes. Breath and meditation work with large groups; for hands-on workshops we plan the group size around the venue.

Should participation be mandatory?

We recommend voluntary participation. We build the programme so that anyone can take part by simply listening.

Should we do it at the office or in nature?

It depends on your goal and calendar. The office is easier for time and budget; nature lets people step away from work but needs transport and meal planning.

What is in the proposal?

The flow of the programme, the length, and what is and is not included. Sending the date, number of people and venue speeds things up.

Do you collect feedback after the event?

If the company wishes, we suggest a short feedback form. We look at the results together when planning the next programme.

Can the event be held in English?

All of our work can be held in English as well as in Turkish. Tell us the language your team works in and we will talk about it.
